Recently I spent some time roaming through our local Whole Foods store to look out for some new gluten-free products. I’m always interested in new bars, you know, add some variety. Bars are ideal to bring to work etc.

Bumble Bars are gluten-free, wheat free, dairy free, and certified organic by the Washington State Dept. of Agriculture. They are handcrafted by the company, but nothing is said if manufacturing is strictly gluten-free. I would assume it is.

Experience:
BumbleBars are a bit different than regular bars. They are less dense and tend to fall apart easily, which is not a negative. The taste is really good and you get a lot of good nutrition also. Overall a very good food product which I would highly recommend, not only to the gluten intolerant crowd. They do seem to be a bit on the sweet side.

The bars come in 12 different flavors: Original Flavor, Original Flavor with Almonds, Lushus Lemon, Chocolate Crisp, Chai with Almonds, Original Flavor with Cashew, Original Flavor with Mixed Nuts, Original Flavor with Hazelnut, Awesome Apricot, Chunky Cherry, Tasty Tropical, Cherry Chocolate. My local store only had half of them available.

Where to Buy:
You should be able to find the bars at your local health food store. You also can order them online at BumbleBar’s website. They are available in the US, Canada and Australia.

LÄRABARs are fruit and nut bars. All of them are wheat and gluten free. They come in many different flavors, but not all of the flavors may be available in the grocery store closest to you.

LÄRABARs are rich in flavor and also rich in nutrition. They are not low in calories and can easily replace a smaller meal.

Available Flavors:
Coconut cream pie, peanut butter cookie, cinnamon roll, cashew cookie, banana bread, lemon bar, ginger snap, apple pie, key lime pie, pistachio, pecan pie, cocoa môlé, cherry pie, chocolate coconut, peanut butter cookie

Experience:
I love these bars. They taste great, have a good texture and are filling and satisfying. They do not have the weird taste many of these bars have.

Lärabars, Wheat and Gluten Free

There are many flavors available so you should be able to find one you like. My personal favorites are cashew cookie and also peanut butter cookie, followed by Apple pie and cherry pie. Although you could say that I am a chocoholic, the chocolate flavors are not so much to my liking – too sweet and dense.

Where to buy:
You should be able to find these bars, at least some of the flavors at places like Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Mothers, Ralph’s and maybe some other more general grocery chains. The best prices are at Trader Joe’s. You can also buy the bars on Lärabar’s own online shop.

Blog: https://www.larabar.com/secure/blog/index.php

LÄRABAR is completely gluten-free and is made in a certified gluten-free facility. LÄRABAR packaging bears the Gluten Free Certification Organization (GFCO) symbol.
